Over 1500 acres extends the new embassies district in the new administrative capital, which is supposed to gather all embassies that located in Cairo and Giza. Also, the new embassies district will guarantee an additional layer of security for such embassies and it will eliminate the crowd of Cairo and Giza.
Furthermore, 150 diplomats and 100 ambassadors from numerous countries such as the UAE, the United States, England, France, Germany and Bella Russia visited the embassies district in the new administrative capital with 8 assistants of the foreign minister.
Lands in the New Embassies District:
There are various areas of embassies lands in order to suit all embassies as areas are starting from 2 acres up to 22 acres.
In addition to that, some countries will exchange a land in their country with Egypt in order to have a land with the same area in the new embassies district.
However, the new administrative capital company has received many requests from various embassies to own a land in the embassies district, what is urging the company to launch the district soon.
Also, a road will connect the new embassies district in the new administrative capital with the ministry of foreign affairs in the government district and the residence palace.
Moreover, the new embassies district will contain in addition to the embassies buildings, the United Nations and international organizations facilities.
Also, it was confirmed that the embassies that will relocate their headquarters to the new administrative capital will retain their previous headquarters under their control.
Additionally, major-general, Ahmed Zaki Abdeen has stated that embassies will only bear the cost of purchasing their own land and the costs of buildings construction processes in the new embassies district in the new administrative capital, while the new capital company will bear all the costs of the facilities and services in the district.
Moving embassies to the new embassies district will no doubt increase the investment in the new capital, especially the foreign investment.
